🎨 How to color it

Color the elf’s tunic forest green, the cape sunny yellow, the rolled scroll warm tan, and the mushroom caps bright red with white spots. Use chunky crayons for the big mushroom tops and simple path, and let little hands color right over the lines if they want. Add a soft blue sky behind the raised scroll so it feels like a tiny banner of good news.

Every day, Lumo carried a rolled-up scroll through the mushroom dell. Tap, tap, went his small shoes on the cool path; hush, hush, went the tall grass.

One day, the scroll stayed blank. Lumo sat by the red caps and waited. The air smelled wet and sweet. Because he waited, silver words slowly shone. Because of that, the path lines glowed too.
