🎨 How to color it

Color the cupcake frosting cotton-candy pink, the unicorn horn lavender and lemon yellow, the wrapper sky blue, and the tiny stars golden. Use sharp colored pencils for the small hearts, sprinkles, and star shapes, then switch to a broader marker tip for the frosting clouds and wrapper panels. Try a soft rainbow fade through the swoopy forelock so the little star on it looks like it landed in magical hair.

The story behind this coloring page

High above Sugarcup Square, where the air smelled like vanilla steam and cool slate, Nola balanced on the rooftop observatory rail and held a paper dot against her wrapper. It was no bigger than a sprinkle, pale as flour, and almost too small to keep. Still, she touched it before every star-counting night, then lifted her striped horn toward the sky while the domes below clicked open with a soft clack-clack.

The stars brightened one by one. Nola named them in whispers: Lemon Blink, Blue Button, Sleepy Comet. Her frosting curls tingled, and the sugar stars around her seemed to listen. “There’s enough sparkle for everyone,” she said, though the joy in her chest felt too large for one rooftop.

Then the paper dot warmed. A hidden silver line appeared, then another, until it became a tiny map of every window in Sugarcup Square. Nola laughed so softly the sprinkles shivered. She tipped her horn, and each named star sent a glimmer down to a different sill, a different room, a different sleepy face. Far below, curtains glowed like little moons. If you find Nola’s smallest round sprinkle, you may have found the first dot that showed her how to share the sky.
