🎨 How to color it

Layer the cornucopia in honey brown, the pumpkin in burnt orange, the corn husks in olive green, and the apples in deep red. Use sharp pencils for the basket’s many woven bands and corn kernels, saving broader marker strokes for the large maple and oak leaves. Try a warm-to-cool glow by making the harvest bright gold and orange while tinting the arched stained-glass background with pale blue and smoky violet.

The pointed arch above the overflowing cornucopia seems purely decorative, until its narrow center pane catches the eye like a locked door of glass. A dry leaf-rustle, soft as paper turning in an old library, filled the air around Elian’s worktable as he studied the harvest window.

He had been tracing the woven horn, row by row, when a small amber glimmer appeared behind the tallest cluster of leaves. Can you find the acorn hanging near the upper right, just under the arch? Its cap held the glimmer like a secret lantern. Elian leaned closer and saw, not a reflection, but a tiny autumn sky hidden inside one piece of scenery: a miniature sunset turning behind the glass border.

The surprise deepened when he looked below. The pumpkin’s curved ribs echoed the same sunset lines, and the two ears of corn seemed to point toward the hidden pane as if they had known all along. Find the apple on the right edge, then follow the long husk sweeping beneath it; it guides the eye back to the center leaf, where the little light finally rests.
