Kawaii Spring Rain Garden
A smiling rain cloud sprinkles a tulip-filled hillside while the sun peeks out and two tiny flyers visit the blooms.
🎨 How to color it
Color the big cloud a soft sky blue, the tulips in pinks and yellows, the winding path sandy tan, and the butterfly’s wings lavender. Use crayons or markers for the large tulip petals and leaves, then switch to a sharp pencil for the bee stripes and the butterfly’s little wing circles. Try making each raindrop a different blue, as if the cloud is sprinkling a secret rainbow shower.

Under the big smiling cloud, those four raindrops are not just falling—they are part of a very hush-hush spring plan. See the curvy path near the bottom? It carries the secret past the tiny stones, around the little sprout, and right toward the tallest tulip in the middle.
Now here is what only a good friend should know: Pip, the happy cloud, has been dreaming of opening a “Giggle Garden” before the sun climbs all the way out from behind him. Can you find the sun’s round face peeking over Pip’s shoulder? The sun promised warm yellow light, while Pip promised gentle raindrops, one for each sleepy flower that needed a tickle.
The butterfly was in charge of checking the tulip cups, and the striped bee buzzed close to make sure no flower missed the news. Look for the tulip with its mouth open near the center—that one heard the plan first and could not stop laughing. By the time the raindrops reached the leaves, every smiling bloom along the path was ready for spring’s biggest, quietest surprise.
