🎨 How to color it

Color the jellyfish’s bell soft lavender, its wavy tentacles coral pink and seafoam green, the glossy head spots pale blue, and the little star charm sunny yellow. Use chunky crayons or broad markers on the large bell first, then switch to a sharper crayon tip for the narrow tentacle ribbons. Try making the sticker border icy blue so the warm yellow star looks like it is glowing beside the jellyfish.

The story behind this coloring page

Ollie Waits for Stardrift — Under the twilight pier, Ollie played Drift-and-Listen every evening. Read the full story →

Under the twilight pier, Ollie played Drift-and-Listen every evening. He would float one tentacle-width, stop, and count the tiny sounds: tick of crab feet, hush of sand, plip of bubbles. He wanted the quietest sound of all, the one nobody else noticed.

One day, the current forgot to move. Because of that, Ollie had to wait in the blue stillness while the pilings creaked above him. Because of that, a tiny star charm, caught on a thread of sea grass, finally stopped spinning and gave one clear ting.

“I heard you,” Ollie whispered. He carried the star free, slow as moonlight. Next time you see his curls, can you find the patient little ting from the twilight pier?
