🎨 How to color it

Color the octopus lavender, the orange bright tangerine with a green leaf, and the big and little O’s sunny yellow. Add a pale blue bubble trail and make the music notes rainbow-colored so the whole ocean seems to hum.

She had set herself a tiny challenge: make an O-song so round that every bubble would float up slowly instead of popping too soon. The water smelled salty and sweet, and moonlight slid over the orange peel like silver syrup.

Nell hummed low. The bubbles rose in soft circles. Then she noticed something surprising: the orange was humming too, not with a mouth, but with its dimpled skin, sending the song into the water for a baby clam asleep under the shell steps. “Oh,” whispered Nell, and she tucked the orange closer so the clam could dream in circles.
