🎨 How to color it

Try a lemon-yellow sun, sky-blue raindrops, a cherry-red raincoat, and purple-and-teal stripes on the scarf and mittens. Use sharp colored pencils for the tiny labels around the season wheel and the narrow scarf stripes, then switch to markers for the larger coat and sunglasses. For a fun twist, color each quarter of the weather wheel in a different seasonal mood: fresh green, hot orange, leafy brown, and icy blue.

The air outside smelled like wet sidewalks and warm sunshine at the same time, which is exactly the kind of mixed-up weather Milo liked best. Between us, the wheel was not just a chart—it was his grandfather’s Weather Spinner, and the arrow only moved when the day could not decide what to be. Can you find the word “SPRING/SUMMER” curving near the top? That was where the arrow trembled first.

Milo slipped on the hooded raincoat from the left side of the page, even though the sunglasses on the right looked tempted to join him. “We’ll need everything,” he whispered. A raindrop tapped the coat sleeve, a sunbeam flashed across the glasses, and one leaf skittered near the striped scarf. Can you spot the scarf with fringes at the bottom? Milo wrapped it around his neck, just in case winter tried sneaking in.

Then the arrow clicked toward the cloudy sun picture, and the mittens wiggled as if they had heard the signal. Can you find the pair of mittens tied together by one curly string? Milo tucked the Weather Spinner under his arm and grinned, because a four-season afternoon was the best secret to color.
