The tiny hearts around the plate look like decoration, but their uneven spacing hints at a message in progress. "Just one more ripple," whispered Nori, eyes closed as her tongue touched the soup. She was busy with her secret dream project: designing a moonlit fountain for the houseplants on the windowsill. Each lick sent circles across the broth, nudging little dumplings into place like stepping-stones. When the potted plant’s leaves lined up with the window reflections, Nori spotted the missing clue: three heart marks pointed to the left paw. Beneath it, tucked safely, was her first sketch of the fountain.
