🎨 How to color it

Color the giraffe golden yellow with caramel-brown spots, make the butterfly lavender and coral, and give the tall flower a sunny yellow center with pink petals. Use chunky crayons or broad markers for the giraffe’s big body, then switch to a sharper tip for the butterfly wings and tiny face spots. Try making each cloud a very pale blue so the giraffe’s warm colors feel extra cozy.

The story behind this coloring page

Every day after breakfast, Otto practiced his tiny bow beside the flower garden path. He wanted to dip his long neck so low that the butterfly judges would clap their wings. “Lower than a daisy!” he whispered, and his hooves went plip-plop in the cool grass.

Until one day, Pip the butterfly bowed back and tickled Otto’s nose with a wing. Because of that, Otto sneezed, “Ah-CHOO!” and blew fuzz off the flower. Because of THAT, the fuzz stuck to his spots, and three beetles marched after him, thinking he was a moving snack stand.

At last, Otto bowed just a little, not too low, and everyone fit under his smile: Pip, the beetles, the flower, and Otto himself. Next time you spot him by the path, can you find the butterfly judge who started the trouble?
