🎨 How to color it

Color the ice cream scoop strawberry pink, the waffle cone honey brown, the cherry bright red, and the little sailboat sky blue. Use chunky crayons or broad markers for the big scoop and cone, then let your child tap simple colors into the sprinkles and round candy bits. Try making the smiling sun golden yellow while the ocean stays soft teal, so the ice cream feels extra cool on the pier.

The story behind this coloring page

Under the warm pier sun, Nori carried two quarters that clicked in their pocket, click-clack, click-clack. They wanted one tall ice cream before the sailboat bell rang for supper. At the stand, the server passed over a cherry-topped cone that smelled like vanilla and sugar. Nori took one happy lick—then saw a tiny crab tapping the wooden boards with a bit of blue chalk.

The crab drew an arrow toward the rail. Nori stepped out of the shade, drip-drip, following it past salty waves and a striped umbrella. A cold drop slid over Nori’s fingers, but the arrow ended beside a loose plank where a kite string had snagged. “Oh, you needed help,” Nori whispered. The crab snipped the string with one careful claw and bowed. Nori walked back with sticky hands, a smaller cone, and a bigger story. If you spot the cherry on top, can you guess where the crab’s next arrow might point?
