🎨 How to color it

Color the singing bird sunshine yellow, the ARIA letters in alternating coral and aqua stripes, and the stars a bright golden yellow. Use chunky crayons or broad markers for the big rounded letters, then switch to a sharper crayon tip for the tiny music notes and star points. Try making the wavy sound lines pale blue near the bird and darker blue as they float away.

The story behind this coloring page

Why Aria’s Name Sings — Under the music-nook table, Nora rubbed smooth paper until it whispered shh-shh. Read the full story →

Under the music-nook table, Nora rubbed smooth paper until it whispered shh-shh. She wanted to make Aria a name perch with her own hands, one sturdy enough for the little practice bird who sang only when the room felt gentle.

The A stood tall. The I and last A leaned close. But the R would not sit right. Nora tapped it, and a tiny chirp answered from inside the curve. She peeked where nobody ever looks—under the round belly of the R—and found a curled silver note, soft as ribbon. “You were hiding the song!” she whispered.

Nora tucked the note into the letter, pressed the stripes flat, and the bird hopped up, proud and bright. Ever since, Aria’s name has carried music in its middle; can you spot the letter that still keeps the first chirp?
